The Role
This is a strong opportunity for an experienced manufacturing professional to take responsibility for production operations within an automotive SKD facility. You will oversee production planning, workforce performance, process improvement, and daily manufacturing activities while working closely with quality, supply chain, maintenance, and warehouse teams to maintain smooth and efficient operations

Description
- Take overall responsibility for day-to-day production activities and ensure output meets planned volume and delivery requirements
- Organize production resources, manpower, and workflows to maintain efficient assembly operations
- Lead production supervisors and operators, setting clear performance expectations and developing team capability
- Review production performance and identify bottlenecks affecting output, efficiency, or delivery
- Improve assembly processes and production methods to enhance productivity and reduce operational losses
- Work closely with Quality teams to address defects, strengthen process controls, and maintain required product standards
- Coordinate with Supply Chain and Warehouse teams to ensure required components and materials are available for production
- Partner with Maintenance teams to minimize equipment-related interruptions and maintain production continuity
- Monitor key production indicators and translate performance data into practical improvement actions
- Ensure production activities comply with workplace safety requirements, company procedures, and operational standards
- Support the implementation of Lean Manufacturing and other continuous improvement initiatives
- Prepare regular production updates and performance reports for the upper management
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical discipline
- Minimum 8–10 years of manufacturing experience, including at least 3 years in a production management position
- Strong hands-on experience in automotive manufacturing and SKD/CKD assembly environments
- Good understanding of production planning, assembly processes, quality systems, and Lean Manufacturing principles
- Proven ability to lead production teams and manage workforce performance in a factory environment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with a practical approach to operational challenges
- Experience working closely with Quality, Maintenance, Supply Chain, and Warehouse functions
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Good command of English is preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and make timely operational decisions
