• Lead analytical laboratory operations, quality testing, data integrity, and compliance while developing a high-performing Quality team
• Up to 2,000,000 MMK + Allowances 

The Role

Exciting opportunity for an experienced Quality professional to supervise analytical laboratory activities and ensure compliance with global quality standards, GMP requirements, and local quality systems. This role will oversee sampling and testing programs, analytical methods, laboratory equipment, data integrity, safety, and day-to-day laboratory operations while supporting continuous improvement across the Quality function

Description

• Lead the implementation and maintenance of quality standards and GMP requirements within the analytical laboratory
• Set annual quality objectives for laboratory team members and provide coaching, guidance, and performance support
• Oversee sampling, retention, and testing activities covering raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished products
• Ensure analytical testing methods and procedures are accurately implemented and consistently followed.
• Maintain laboratory competency in routine analytical testing procedures
• Review and interpret laboratory data while ensuring accuracy, traceability, and strong data integrity
• Apply statistical and process control tools to support quality monitoring and analysis
• Manage analytical laboratory instruments throughout their lifecycle, including qualification, calibration, maintenance, and reference standards
• Maintain appropriate laboratory safety practices and ensure correct handling and disposal of chemical waste
• Support the management of formulation water requirements and related laboratory activities
• Participate in internal audits, quality assessments, and GMP verification activities
• Oversee laboratory supplies, operational requirements, and budget management.
• Support effective laboratory governance and ensure smooth day-to-day operations
• Work closely with the Quality Manager and relevant stakeholders on quality improvement initiatives

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Science or a related discipline; Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Pharmacy, Pharmaceutical Science, or a related field is preferred
• 3–5 years of laboratory experience within pharmaceutical, cosmetic, consumer products, or a similar manufacturing environment
• Strong knowledge of analytical laboratory instruments and troubleshooting
• Experience in Quality, with knowledge of GMP, QA/QC, and quality systems
• Understanding of statistics and statistical process control
• Knowledge of laboratory equipment qualification and related quality practices
• Strong awareness of laboratory and workplace safety
• Previous experience supervising or developing laboratory personnel
• Good English communication skills
• Good computer literacy
• Strong teamwork, organization, and interpersonal skills
