Data Analyst and Business Intelligence Lead at a Well-Known Financial Services Company in Yangon

• Analyze data to build and lead a new Business Intelligence (BI) Unit
• Up to 3,000,000 MMK and Other Allowances

Description

• Design and implement the BI strategy, ensuring data-driven decision-making across departments
• Identify and implement BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Google Data Studio) for efficient reporting
• Build a team of BI analysts and data specialists to support various business functions
• Establish data pipelines and infrastructure to collect, clean, and store data from various sources
• Provide actionable insights to support customer acquisition, transaction monitoring, and fraud detection
• Support executive decision-making with predictive analytics and performance tracking

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Business Analytics, Computer Science, Finance, or a related field
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or a similar role
• Proven experience in establishing or leading a Business Intelligence (BI) Unit
• Proficiency in SQL, Excel, and BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Google Data Studio
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to extract actionable insights from complex datasets
• Experience in data governance and database management practices
• Familiarity with Python or R for advanced data modeling and analysis
• Excellent English communication skills are essential
