• Responsible as key liaison among business stakeholders, technology teams, and external vendors, while also mentoring junior BAs and ensuring consistent analysis standards and practices

The Role

• Gather, evaluate, and document business, functional, and technical requirements through interviews, workshops, and analysis of existing data
• Partner with stakeholders, product owners, and cross-functional teams to identify pain points, capture insights, and recommend actionable solutions
• Coordinate with solution architects, developers, and QA teams to ensure alignment between business requirements and technical implementation
• Drive the successful execution of multiple IT projects, including core system upgrades, digital transformation initiatives, and process automation
• Enhance and standardize business analysis methodologies, templates, and documentation practices
• Work in close collaboration with project managers, testers, and development teams to ensure cohesive and timely project outcomes

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology (or equivalent experience)
• 7+ years of progressive experience in IT business analysis or systems analysis roles
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data and business needs
• Hands-on experience working with insurance, banking, or financial services is a plus
• Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies
• Familiarity with project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, etc.)
• Experience with business process modeling, requirements documentation, and business process mapping
• Certification in Business Analysis (e.g., CBAP, PMI-PBA) is a plus, knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC)
• Proficient in Visio, MS Project, MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word), UML Diagram/ SDLC framework / Agile Methodologies, basic knowledge of database: MSSQL or MySQL or DB2/XML
