Administrative Officer at a Leading Logistics Company in Yangon, Myanmar

The Role

This role is responsible for overseeing general administrative tasks, coordinating logistics documentation, and ensuring efficient internal operations across departments.

 Our client is a well-established logistics and transportation company specializing in cargo movement, freight forwarding, and warehousing solutions. The company is known for its reliable service and end-to-end supply chain solutions for both domestic and international clients.

 Description

  • Coordinate office operations, including filing, scheduling, and internal communication

  • Handle administrative paperwork for shipping, customs clearance, and logistics documentation

  • Liaise with vendors, transport partners, and warehouse teams to support operational flow

  • Maintain and order office supplies and equipment as needed

  • Manage internal reports and prepare basic spreadsheets and documentation for management

  • Support HR and finance teams in administrative tasks such as leave tracking, expense claims, and document organization

  • Ensure proper archiving all documents in physical and digital formats

  • Monitor and maintain compliance with internal policies and government regulations

  • Oversee daily use and scheduling of company vehicles, Monitor and manage fuel consumption.

  • Handle vehicle insurance processes – renewal, claims, and documentation

  • Coordinate vehicle maintenance, repairs, and servicing schedules

Requirements

  •  Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Management, or related field

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in an administrative role, preferably in logistics, supply chain, or transport sectors

  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook); knowledge of logistics or ERP software is a plus

  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills

  • Ability to work independently and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment

  • Good interpersonal and communication skills in both English and Burmese

  • High attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
