The Role

Lead and manage the overall human resources function, overseeing HR strategy, talent acquisition, organizational development, employee relations, performance management, compensation and benefits, and HR operations. Drive effective people management practices to support business growth, strengthen organizational capabilities, and foster a positive and high-performing workplace culture.

Our client is an established Financial Services company in Yangon, operating in a competitive industry and providing a range of financial products and services to individual and corporate customers.

Description

• Develop and implement HR strategies, policies, and procedures aligned with the company's business objectives
• Lead workforce planning, talent acquisition, and recruitment strategies to attract and retain qualified talent
• Oversee the full recruitment process, including candidate selection, interviews, and onboarding
• Manage HR operations, employee records, attendance, leave, and benefits administration
• Oversee compensation and benefits structures, salary reviews, and payroll coordination
• Develop and implement performance management and employee development frameworks
• Lead employee engagement initiatives, organizational development, and succession planning
• Advise senior management on HR matters, workforce planning, and organizational effectiveness
• Ensure compliance with applicable labor laws, regulations, and statutory requirements
• Manage employee relations, grievances, disciplinary matters, and workplace conflict resolution
• Lead and develop the HR team to ensure effective delivery of HR services across the organization

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related field
• Minimum 8–10 years of relevant HR experience, with strong managerial or leadership experience
• Strong knowledge of HR strategies, talent management, compensation and benefits, and local labor practices
• Proven experience leading HR operations and managing HR teams
• Excellent leadership, communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
• Experience in the Banking and Financial Services industry is an advantage
