The Role
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced and strategic finance professional to lead the overall finance function of a well-established group organization in Myanmar. The Head of Finance will play a critical role in driving financial strategy, strengthening governance, and supporting business growth through sound financial leadership.

Job Description
- Oversee the overall financial strategy, planning, and budgeting process of the organization
- Develop, implement, and maintain financial policies, procedures, and internal controls to ensure operational efficiency and asset protection
- Prepare, review, and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports with detailed analysis of trends and variances
- Monitor and manage cash flow planning, fund allocation, and treasury operations including banking relationships and foreign exchange matters
- Identify opportunities for cost optimization and revenue enhancement
- Oversee tax planning, tax compliance, statutory audits, and liaise with tax authorities and external auditors
- Manage expense control, revenue reporting, commercial tax filings, and overseas payment transfers
- Conduct regular audits and implement effective financial risk management systems
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to senior management and the Board to support strategic decision-making
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field
- MBA or professional qualification such as CPA, ACCA, or CA is highly preferred
- Minimum 5–8 years of management-level experience in finance or accounting, preferably within manufacturing or large organizations
- Strong knowledge of IFRS, taxation, financial regulations, corporate finance, and risk management
- Excellent analytical, forecasting, and problem-solving skills
- Proven leadership capability with experience managing and developing finance teams
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in financial systems and Microsoft Office applications
