Description
- Lead the annual strategic planning, budgeting, forecasting (monthly/quarterly), and long-range planning processes
- Develop and maintain sophisticated financial models including P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow projections to support capital allocation and strategic decisions
- Drive cost optimization initiatives and operational efficiency while supporting continued business growth
- Conduct deep financial and operational analysis on key revenue drivers, customer acquisition costs, and customer lifetime value
- Establish and standardize a company-wide KPI and performance measurement framework aligned with corporate strategy
- Cascade corporate objectives into measurable departmental goals and OKRs, ensuring strong accountability and execution discipline
- Lead performance review routines and promote a data-driven performance culture across the organization
- Monitor industry trends, competitive landscape, and regulatory developments to benchmark performance and provide proactive strategic insights
- Drive continuous improvement of business processes through systems, automation, and analytics
- Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing finance and performance management team
- Prepare and deliver high-impact presentations for Board of Directors meetings and investor engagements
- Collaborate closely with departmental heads to challenge assumptions, optimize decision-making, and improve profitability
- Manage relationships with external stakeholders including auditors, banks, and investors, ensuring transparent and accurate financial communication
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. MBA or relevant professional certification (e.g., ACCA, CFA, CPA, CIMA, or equivalent) is an advantage.
- Over 10 years of progressive experience in financial planning, corporate finance, or related strategic finance functions, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role managing a team.
- Strong expertise in financial modelling, including integrated P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow projections, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable business insights.
- Prior exposure to dynamic, high-growth industries such as financial services or technology-driven environments is advantageous.
- Strong experience with financial planning systems, analytical tools, and performance management frameworks.
- Proven leadership capability with experience building, mentoring, and managing high-performing finance teams.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with experience engaging senior leadership, Board members, and external stakeholders.
- Proficient in financial systems and modern planning tools, with advanced skills in MS Excel and presentation software.
