• Responsible for overseeing broadcast IT infrastructure, network reliability, studio production tech support, and data storage systems to ensure continuous, high-availability media transmission and operational efficiency
• Salary up to 3,000,000 MMK 

The Role

The IT Manager will be responsible for leading the company’s core IT and broadcasting technology infrastructure, ensuring seamless media delivery, transmission uptime, and robust cybersecurity. You will work closely with senior management, broadcast engineers, and production teams to manage annual IT budgets, implement network resilience strategies, enforce IT policies, and support digital broadcasting systems

Description

• Oversee the end-to-end IT and network infrastructure supporting broadcast operations, live streaming, studio production, and corporate offices
• Ensure high-availability network uptime and data redundancy, managing high-capacity storage systems (NAS/SAN) for media assets and digital content archives
• Implement and maintain robust network security protocols, including FortiGate firewalls, multilayer switches, Active Directory, and access controls to safeguard media content and broadcast signals
• Lead annual IT budgeting, technology procurement, license management, and vendor relations for broadcast and enterprise IT equipment
• Formulate, implement, and enforce corporate IT policies, cybersecurity guidelines, and disaster recovery plans for business continuity during live broadcasts
• Coordinate IT infrastructure projects, system upgrades, server administration, and integration between broadcast engineering systems and enterprise networks
• Provide strategic technology recommendations to senior management to keep pace with emerging media, streaming, and broadcasting technologies

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in IT infrastructure, network administration, and system management, preferably within the media, broadcasting, telecommunications, or entertainment sector
• Strong technical expertise in network security (FortiGate firewalls, Huawei/Cisco switches), high-bandwidth network architectures, media storage systems, and Active Directory
• Proven experience in IT budgeting, policy development, project management, and vendor management
• Ability to manage high-pressure live production environments and troubleshoot critical technical issues rapidly
