Description

• Oversee QA/QC processes from raw material intake to final product packaging
• Implement inspection protocols to prevent defects during production
• Ensure compliance with food safety standards including FSMS, HACCP, and ISO 22000
• Manage microbial lab operations and food/water testing schedules
• Monitor hygiene standards of staff and processing areas
• Lead internal audits and ensure timely closure of nonconformities
• Maintain documentation for regulatory and customer audits
• Supervise equipment, staff, and production floor operations to ensure smooth workflow
• Drive innovation and introduce process improvements
• Collaborate with teams for health checks, training, and safety compliance
• Report operational issues and QA/QC metrics to senior management

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in food science, Microbiology, or related field
• Minimum 5 years of experience in QA/QC roles within food manufacturing
• Strong understanding of HACCP, GMP, ISO standards, and risk-based quality systems
• Experience in managing audits, documentation, and corrective actions
• Proficient in MS Office and quality management tools
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work under pressure and manage cross-functional teams
• Required to base in Nay Pyi Taw, ideally a native or anyone who is keen for relocation
