Responsibilities
- Lead annual business trade term negotiations with modern trade customers with support from cross-functional teams
- Act as a strategic partner to sales teams to develop and execute plans for key modern trade accounts
- Build and maintain strong relationships with modern trade channels to enhance product distribution and category visibility
- Oversee promotion planning, budgeting, new product listings, and demand forecasting
- Drive market share growth by defining and maintaining strategic direction of account business plans
- Analyze sales data to assess sales potential, inventory needs, and customer preferences
- Collaborate with the sales capability team to implement KPIs and performance improvement programs
- Oversee development of customer-specific offer formats and ensure operational execution
- Monitor category and product performance against targets and implement corrective actions when necessary
- Manage and lead the sales team under supervision
- Perform other duties assigned by management
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related fields
- Minimum 8 years’ experience in field sales
- 3–5 years in Modern Trade, Sales Manager, or Channel Development roles, preferably within FMCG or food & beverage
- Hands-on experience in operational sales management and route-to-market development
- Strong knowledge of trade structures and distributor management
- Strong team management, coaching, and motivational skills
- Result-oriented with a sense of urgency and target-driven mindset
- Willingness to travel to provinces
- Ability to conduct market intelligence and monitor competitor activities
- Strong communication skills in Myanmar and English; proficient in MS Office applications
- Strategic thinking, analytical, and initiative-driven
