Job Description

Country Representative (Myanmar)

  • Responsible for leading business development, managing distributor networks, and driving market expansion for industrial components across Myanmar.
  • Salary up to 6,500,000 MMK

The Role

This is a senior and strategic role designed for an experienced commercial professional within the industrial or engineering sector. The position focuses on developing market presence, building strong distributor relationships, and driving revenue growth across Myanmar. The successful candidate will act as the main representative of the company in-country, managing both direct and indirect sales channels while aligning with regional strategies and hands-on understanding on navigation of the supply chain operation.

Description

  • Lead and represent the company’s business operations and commercial activities in Myanmar
  • Develop and execute country-level sales strategies to drive revenue growth and market share expansion
  • Manage and expand distributor networks to strengthen market coverage and performance
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, partners, and industrial clients
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities across key industrial sectors
  • Oversee account strategies to grow both existing and new customer portfolios
  • Ensure achievement of sales targets and commercial objectives
  • Gather market intelligence on competitors and industry trends to support business decisions
  • Support customers with product applications and technical-related sales discussions
  • Coordinate with regional teams to align local execution with global strategies

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Mechanical, or related field preferred
  • Minimum 8–12 years of experience in industrial sales, distribution management, or related fields
  • Strong experience in managing distributors and developing indirect sales channels
  • Proven track record in business development and market expansion
  • Strong communication skills in both internal and external stakeholder management
  • Good command of English communication
  • Ability to work independently and drive business growth in an entrepreneurial environment
  • Possess a valid driving license; own vehicle is an advantage
