The Role

The successful candidate will work closely with commercial and trading teams while gaining exposure to agricultural supply chains, market dynamics, risk management, and business development initiatives.

Description

• Support commercial and trading activities across manufacturing, distribution, and agricultural sourcing operations
• Monitor market prices, supply and demand trends, shipment data, and other market indicators
• Analyze market information and provide insights to support trading and business decisions
• Monitor contracts, positions, execution status, and collection activities
• Coordinate with finance, logistics, warehouse, and operational teams to ensure risks are properly monitored and reported
• Support new business initiatives through market research, data analysis, and project evaluation
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, knowledge development, and best practices across the business
• Assist with ad-hoc projects and assignments as required by the commercial management team

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business, Economics, Agriculture, Finance, Supply Chain, or a related discipline
• Minimum 3 years of experience in commercial operations, trading, procurement, supply chain, or related functions
• Strong analytical and numerical skills with the ability to interpret market and trading data
• Good understanding of commodity trading and commercial operations
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications
• Strong communication and coordination skills
• Good command of written and spoken English and Myanmar
• Detail-oriented with strong accountability and accuracy
• Willingness to learn and grow within a commercial trading environment
