Senior Accountant at one of the Automotive Companies in Yangon, Myanmar

• Manage and maintain sections of legal books and accounting records, including General Ledger, Sales Records, Purchase Records, and Inventory control

• Up to 1,200,000 MMK plus other allowances

The Role

This role requires to prepare full sets of accounts, including monthly Profit and Loss statements and financial reporting to the Head of Finance

Our client company is one of the successful automotive companies in Myanmar and providing a wide range of vehicles and offering various cars for sale and related services

Description

• Handle full set of accounts including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), and Bank Reconciliation

• Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial statements and management reports

• Perform reconciliations and assist in budget preparation and financial audits

• Manage relationships and liaise with bankers, review loan agreements, foreign exchange lines, and other financial arrangements in coordination with the Head of Finance

• Assist with tax filings and audits

• Support daily accounting operations and maintain accurate financial records for the company

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Management, or related field

• Minimum of 2-3 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in the automotive or related industry

• Educational qualifications typically include a Diploma in Accounting, with ACCA Part 1 or higher preferred

• Strong command of English, both written and spoken, for effective communication and reporting

• Proficiency in preparing full sets of accounts and financial statements

• Ability to handle accounting software and financial systems relevant to the automotive sector

• Experience in managing accounts receivable and payable, as well as inventory reconciliation
