The Role
The role will oversee the full spectrum of accounting and finance functions including financial reporting, budgeting, tax compliance, and support to senior management in line with the company’s strategic goals

Our client is a leading agricultural manufacturing company specializing in the sourcing, processing, and delivering premium fertilizers
Description
- Manage full-set accounting including GL, AR, AP, payroll, fixed assets and inventory accounting
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements, forecasts and budgets
- Ensure compliance with Myanmar tax laws, accounting standards and company policies
- Implement and maintain accounting policies, procedures and SOPs
- Liaise with external auditors, tax consultants and regulatory bodies
- Supervise, mentor and develop the accounting team; ensure accuracy and timeliness of financial records
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to senior management to support operational and strategic decisions
- Handle cash flow planning, asset management and ensure safeguarding of company assets
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline, ACCA or similar certification preferred
- Proven experience in senior accounting/finance roles with at least 3 years in a leadership position (e.g., as Chief Accountant) in manufacturing or agriculture sector is an advantage
- Strong knowledge of Myanmar accounting standards, tax regulations, and finance best practices
- Excellent mastery of accounting software/ERP systems and advanced Excel skills
- Fluency in English and Burmese preferred
