Main Teacher for Primary Level at one of the International Schools in Hmaw Bi, Yangon, Myanmar 

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and effective lessons in English, Science and Mathematics aligned with the Cambridge International Examinations (CIE) or equivalent international curricula

• Up to 800,000 MMK plus other allowances

Description

• Develop and maintain detailed records of student progress, conduct assessments, and provide constructive feedback

• Prepare students for standardized tests and examinations

• Collaborate with colleagues to develop interdisciplinary projects and contribute to curriculum development

• Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment that fosters curiosity and academic excellence

• Manage classroom behaviour effectively and support students from diverse cultural backgrounds

• Communicate professionally with parents regarding student progress and development

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, English, Science, Mathematics, or a related field

• Recognized teaching qualification or certification

• Preferably experience or training in the Cambridge curriculum or other international education systems

• Minimum 2-3 years teaching experience in international schools or comparable settings

• Experience teaching English, Science or Mathematics across primary and/or secondary levels

• Fluency in English and Burmese (both spoken and written) is essential
