Senior Accountant at one of the Well-known Marketing Agencies in Yangon, Myanmar 

• Oversee the financial operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance with regulations, and efficient accounting practices tailored to the marketing industry

• Up to 1,000,000 MMK plus other allowances

The Role

This role requires managing financial records, preparing reports, leading month-end and year-end closings, and supporting strategic financial decisions

Our client company offers a wide range of services including graphic design, web design, advertising, social media strategy, film production, and content creation

Description

• Manage daily accounting operations including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations

• Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports tailored to the marketing agency’s needs

• Ensure compliance with Myanmar’s accounting standards and tax laws

• Lead month-end and year-end closing processes

• Coordinate audits and assist with external financial reviews

• Collaborate with other departments to coordinate financial projects and budgeting

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

• 3-5 years of relevant accounting experience, ideally including experience in marketing or service industries

• Strong knowledge of Myanmar tax regulations

• Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Excel skills

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively

• Excellent command of spoken and written English
