The Role
The role will be responsible for translating business documents, emails, and verbal communications between Japanese, English and Burmese. The role involves supporting the company’s operations, assisting with communication between Japanese clients and the local team, and ensuring the accuracy and clarity of all translated materials

Description
- Translate business correspondence, emails, reports, contracts, and other documents between Japanese, English and Burmese
- Assist with the interpretation during meetings, phone calls, and video conferences, ensuring clear communication between Japanese clients and local teams
- Proofread and edit translated documents to ensure accuracy and consistency
- Support Japanese-speaking clients by providing translations for customer service or support materials
- Work closely with other departments to ensure smooth communication between Japanese clients and internal teams
- Maintain confidentiality of all business-related documents and communications.
- Ensure that all translations are delivered in a timely and accurate manner.
- Assist with cultural and language-related training or guidance for local staff when necessary
Requirements
- Proficient in Japanese (JLPT N2 or higher) and English, both written and spoken
- At least 2 years of experience as a translator or interpreter
- Strong understanding of both Japanese and Burmese business culture and etiquette
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in translations
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and translation tools is a plus
