The Role

As the Tax Executive, you will be responsible for managing the company’s tax compliance and reporting functions, ensuring accurate and timely submission of tax filings while supporting overall financial and regulatory compliance.

Description

•          Prepare and file monthly, quarterly, and annual tax returns in compliance with local regulations
•         Ensure accurate calculation and timely payment of corporate income tax, commercial tax, withholding tax, and other applicable taxes
•          Maintain proper tax records, documentation, and supporting schedules
•          Liaise with tax authorities on tax submissions, inquiries, and audits
•         Monitor changes in tax laws and regulations and assess their impact on the business
•          Support tax audits, assessments, and investigations by providing required documentation
•         Assist in tax planning and identify opportunities for tax efficiency
•          Coordinate with internal finance teams to ensure accurate financial reporting
•          Ensure compliance with company policies and local statutory requirements
•          Support ad hoc tax-related projects and initiatives

Requirements

•          Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
•          Minimum 3-4 years of experience in tax, accounting, or finance (manufacturing industry experience preferred)
•          Strong knowledge of Myanmar tax laws and regulations
•          Experience in handling tax filings, tax audits, and dealing with tax authorities
•        Good understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
•          Strong analytical and attention to detail skills
•          Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple tasks
•         Proficiency in English required
