The Role

You will be responsible for providing strategic leadership across information security and cybersecurity operations, ensuring the organization's systems, infrastructure, applications, cloud environments, and technology projects are secure and compliant. You will lead security governance, risk management, incident response, vulnerability management, and security improvement initiatives while ensuring business continuity and operational resilience

Description

• Develop and implement the organization’s information security strategy, policies, standards, and procedures
• Lead cybersecurity governance, risk management, compliance, and security operations
• Oversee security monitoring, incident response, vulnerability management, identity and access management, endpoint protection, and network security
• Provide security governance and guidance for IT infrastructure, systems, applications, cloud services, and technology projects
• Oversee the administration, availability, and security of IT infrastructure across on-premises and cloud environments
• Develop, implement, and regularly test disaster recovery and business continuity plans to ensure effective backup, recovery, and operational resilience
• Monitor emerging cybersecurity threats, vulnerabilities, and technologies, and recommend appropriate security improvements and risk mitigation strategies

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field
• Minimum 5–7 years of experience in IT Security, including leadership or managerial experience
• Strong knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks, network and infrastructure security, cloud security, risk management, and regulatory compliance
• Proven expertise with core security technologies, including Firewalls, Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR/XDR), SIEM, WAF, IAM, PAM, and Data Loss Prevention (DLP)
• Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, GCIA, ITIL, or equivalent are preferred
• Fluent in Burmese with good English skills for technical documentation and vendor communication
