General Affairs Officer at a Leading Financial Services Company, Yangon, Myanmar

The Role

As the General Affairs Officer, you will oversee the company’s administrative and operational functions, ensuring efficient office management, compliance with policies, and support for the finance and business teams in a dynamic financial services environment.

Description

  • Manage day-to-day office operations, including office supplies, equipment, and facilities
  • Coordinate with vendors, service providers, and building management for smooth operations
  • Monitor and control administrative expenses, ensuring efficient use of resources
  • Support HR and finance teams with administrative tasks, documentation, and expense tracking
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and local regulations
  • Organize corporate events, meetings, and staff activities within budget
  • Maintain office records, asset registers, and administrative files
  • Assist in budget management and reporting for general affairs and operational expenses
  • Monitor office maintenance, security, and safety protocols
  • Support internal communication and coordination among departments
  • Handle ad hoc projects and operational initiatives as assigned

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or related field
  • Minimum 2–3 years of experience in office administration, general affairs, or operations
  • Experience in expense control, budget tracking, and vendor management
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced corporate environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in English required
