Supply Chain Executive at an International Pharmaceutical Company in Yangon

  • Manage end-to-end supply chain operations, ensuring optimal inventory levels and timely product delivery
  • Up to 1,500,000 MMK

The Role

This role is responsible for overseeing the full supply chain cycle from manufacturing to in-country distribution. You will ensure efficient inventory management, smooth logistics coordination, and accurate reporting while working closely with cross-functional teams to support business operations in a pharmaceutical environment

Description

  • Manage inventory planning and forecasting to maintain optimal stock levels across the country
  • Coordinate with demand planning and manufacturing teams to ensure smooth product flow
  • Act as the key contact for order planning, working with distributors and country teams
  • Track shipments from origin to final delivery, ensuring timely and accurate distribution
  • Handle import processes, including documentation, licensing, and coordination with logistics teams
  • Prepare regular reports including stock levels, sales performance, shipment tracking, and import status
  • Identify opportunities to improve supply chain processes, systems, and efficiency
  • Use data analysis to support decision-making and enhance operational visibility
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and quality standards in collaboration with QA teams
  • Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders and external partners to resolve issues and improve performance

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in any field; certification in Supply Chain or MBA (Operations) is an advantage
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in supply chain, with 2–3 years in pharmaceutical industry preferred
  • Strong knowledge of inventory management, logistics, and distribution processes
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Advanced Excel)
  • Good understanding of supply chain tools and data analysis
  • Strong communication skills with good command of English (spoken and written)
  • Highly analytical, organized, and performance-driven
