The Role
The role is responsible for assisting the Finance Manager in overseeing the company's finance and accounting functions, ensuring accurate financial reporting, budget management, regulatory compliance, and financial analysis to support strategic decision-making within a fast-paced FMCG environment.

Description
- Assisting in managing daily finance and accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and cash flow management
- Preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and management accounts accurately and within deadlines
- Supporting budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes to ensure effective resource allocation
- Ensuring compliance with Myanmar tax regulations, accounting standards, and internal financial policies
- Supporting month-end and year-end closing processes and maintaining accurate financial records
- Supervising and mentoring junior finance and accounting staff when required
Requirement
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline, ACCA Part 2 or similar certification preferred
- Minimum 5 years of experience in finance and accounting functions, including at least 2 years in a senior accountant or supervisory position
- Previous experience in FMCG, manufacturing, or consumer goods industries is highly preferred
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, taxation, and financial analysis
- Good understanding of Myanmar tax laws, accounting standards, and regulatory compliance requirements
- Proficiency in accounting software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel
- Fluency in English and Burmese preferred
