• Lead and oversee the company’s finance and accounting functions, ensuring strong financial performance, accurate reporting, effective controls, and compliance

The Role

Lead and manage the finance and accounting function, overseeing financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting, cash flow, financial planning, cost accounting, taxation, inventory, internal controls, and business performance analysis to support the company’s financial performance and continued growth.

Description

• Lead and oversee the overall finance and accounting operations of the company
• Prepare and review accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports
• Develop and monitor annual budgets, forecasts, financial plans, and business performance indicators
• Oversee cash flow management, working capital, payment schedules, and financial planning
• Oversee manufacturing cost accounting, including raw materials, production costs, labor, overheads, wastage, and product costing
• Monitor inventory valuation, stock movements, inventory controls, and production-related financial performance
• Analyze product profitability, manufacturing costs, margins, and operational variances to support management decision-making
• Manage tax filings and ensure compliance with applicable Myanmar tax regulations, accounting standards, and statutory requirements
• Establish and strengthen internal controls, financial policies, procedures, and risk management practices
• Provide financial insights and strategic recommendations to senior management to support business growth and investment decisions

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, professional accounting qualification such as ACCA, LCCI, or equivalent is highly preferred
• Minimum of 10+ years of relevant accounting and finance experience, including at least 5 years in a senior finance management or leadership role
• Experience in food & beverage manufacturing, FMCG, manufacturing, or other production-driven business environments is strongly preferred
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, taxation, cost accounting, inventory accounting, and internal controls
• Good understanding of manufacturing finance, product costing, production variances, inventory management, and profitability analysis
• Good understanding of Myanmar accounting and tax regulations
• Strong leadership, analytical, numerical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work closely with senior management and cross-functional teams
