Com & Ben Supervisor at a Foreign Organization in Yangon

  • This role is responsible for strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of Labor laws, and experience in managing payroll, benefits, and reward systems particularly within the manufacturing sector
  • Up to 2,500,000 MMK plus other allowances

The Role

The role involves conducting salary benchmarking, overseeing annual reviews and bonus processes, managing vendor relationships, and ensuring compliance with tax and Labor regulations

This is a diversified agribusiness and food processing company. Asia’s leading agribusiness group. They have rapidly expanded its operations across the country, with factories, trading, and distribution centers in major cities such as Yangon and Mandalay 

Job Description

  • Design, implement, and maintain salary structures and compensation packages
  • Conduct market research and salary benchmarking to ensure competitive pay practices
  • Oversee annual salary reviews and bonus distribution processes
  • Manage employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other perks
  • Coordinate with vendors and providers to ensure high-quality and cost-effective benefits
  • Monitor usage, satisfaction, and cost-effectiveness of benefits programs
  • Ensure compliance with Labor laws, tax regulations, and company policies regarding compensation and benefits
  • Prepare and submit reports for internal and external audits
  • Communicate compensation and benefits policies to employees clearly and effectively
  • Address employee inquiries regarding pay, benefits, and related matters
  • Analyse data to evaluate the effectiveness of compensation and benefits programs
  • Provide recommendations to senior management to address gaps and improve employee satisfaction

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field
  • Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in compensation and benefits, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role
  • Experience in the manufacturing industry is preferred
  • Strong knowledge of compensation structures, benefits administration, and Labor law compliance
  • Proficiency in HRIS and payroll systems
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and data analysis tools
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
