IT System Engineer at an International IT Services Company in Yangon
- To support enterprise IT infrastructure and security solutions, need to cover post-sales technical support, installation services, and coordination with customers, System Integrators (SIs), and regional office for drop-ship deployments
- Up to 5,000,000 MMK plus other allowances
The Role
IT System Engineer is for System, Storage, OS, Virtualization, Linux and other network installations, configurations and troubleshooting

Description
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for enterprise infrastructure solutions, including IBM infrastructure, Hitachi servers and storage systems
- Deliver post-sales support services in accordance with service contracts, including assisting customers and SIs who operate systems independently
- Support security and network visibility solutions, including Forescout, Sophos, and Sangfor Security
- Prepare technical documentation, installation reports, and service records
- Support sales and project teams when installation or support services are included in customer engagements
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
- Proven experience in IT infrastructure support, including servers, storage, and virtualization environments
- Solid understanding of enterprise server and storage systems, virtualization or HCI platforms, and IT support/service delivery processes
- Preferred exposure to technologies such as IBM FlashSystem, Ceph Storage, Hitachi, HPE, Dell, NetApp infrastructure, Proxmox VE, Sangfor HCI & Security, Forescout, or Sophos
- Fundamental knowledge of networking concepts, including TCP/IP, VLANs, and firewall principles
- Strong English communication skills (written and spoken)
