Visa Operations Associate at a Leading Outsourcing & Corporate Secretarial Services Firm in Yangon, Myanmar
- Primary Report to: Head of Operations
- Secondary Report to: Government Relations & Operations Manager
- Up to 400,000 MMK plus other benefits
Key Areas of Responsibility
- Enter and update case data accurately in trackers, systems, and case files.
- Prepare routine reports on case status, deadlines, and document movement, as directed by the Executive.
- Assist in preparing and organizing documents for visa, Stay Permit, Form C, FRC and other immigration applications, following the checklist and guidance provided by the Executive.
- Check documents and applications for completeness and obvious errors before they are passed on for review.
- Travel to government offices, embassies, and other external locations to deliver and collect documents.
- Occasionally accompany or represent the team in submitting documents to government officers and follow their instructions on the spot.
- Support the tracking of deadlines and case status and flag anything missing or unclear to the Executive promptly.
- Communicate with clients on routine, well-defined updates (for example, confirming receipt of documents or a submission date), and refer other client queries to the Executive.
- Manage multiple documents and deadlines at once, including during busy periods, without letting accuracy slip.
- Learn the standard procedures and requirements for each visa and permit type and build toward handling routine cases with less supervision.
Requirements
- Fresh graduates are welcome to apply; no prior experience required.
- Good English communication skills, both written and spoken.
- Good computer literacy, including Microsoft Office and comfort learning new online systems and digital tools.
- Strong attention to detail, particularly for data entry and document checking.
- Fast learner, comfortable picking up new processes and government procedures on the job.
- Willing and able to travel locally for document delivery and collection, and to deal with government officers occasionally.
- Able to stay organized and accurate under pressure and tight deadlines.
- Adaptable, proactive, and responsible, with a willingness to learn and take direction well.
