Assistant Manager (Network Administration) at a Leading Microfinance Company in Yangon, Myanmar

• Responsible for managing and maintaining the company’s network infrastructure, ensuring stable, secure, and reliable connectivity across branches, offices, and remote locations
• Salary up to 1,500,000 MMK plus other allowances

The Role

You will be responsible for supporting the design, implementation, administration, and maintenance of the company’s network infrastructure across head office, branches, and other operational locations. You will ensure network availability, performance, and security while providing technical support for network-related incidents and projects

Description

• Assist in managing and maintaining the company’s network infrastructure across head office, branches, and remote locations
• Monitor network availability, performance, capacity, and connectivity to ensure stable IT services across the organization
• Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot routers, switches, firewalls, wireless networks, VPNs, and other network devices
• Manage and support WAN, LAN, VLAN, VPN, Internet, and branch connectivity environments
• Monitor and troubleshoot network incidents, identify root causes, and implement appropriate corrective actions
• Support network security controls, including firewalls, access controls, network segmentation, and secure remote connectivity
• Monitor network equipment and infrastructure to identify potential performance, availability, and security issues

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Network Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum 2 or 3 years of experience in Network Administration, Network Engineering, IT Infrastructure, or a related field, with at least 2 years in a senior or supervisory role
• Strong experience in enterprise network administration, including LAN, WAN, VLAN, VPN, routing, switching, and wireless technologies
• Hands-on experience with network devices such as Cisco routers and switches, firewalls, and wireless infrastructure
• Good knowledge of network security, including firewall administration, access control, network segmentation, and VPN technologies
• Relevant certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, Fortinet, or equivalent are preferred
• Good command of English with strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills
