Description
- Develop and execute procurement and supply chain strategies aligned with business objectives
- Lead supplier sourcing, evaluation, negotiation, and contract management to ensure value, quality, and reliability
- Oversee purchasing, inventory management, warehousing, and distribution activities
- Participate in supplier performance reviews and monitor KPIs related to cost, quality, and delivery
- Analyze market trends, supply risks, and material availability to support proactive decision-making
- Optimize inventory levels to improve turnover, reduce waste, and support service requirements
- Establish and improve procurement policies, procedures, and governance frameworks
- Resolve supplier issues, disputes, and claims in a timely and professional manner
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders across operations, finance, and management teams
- Lead, coach, and develop the procurement and supply chain team to build long-term capability
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience managing procurement and supply chain functions
- Proven track record handling multi-product or multi-brand sourcing environments
- Experience working in developing or emerging markets with evolving supply chain structures
- Strong leadership and people management capabilities
- Solid understanding of international trade, logistics, and customs procedures
- Excellent communication skills in English (written and spoken)
- Analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable strategies
