Description
- Supervise daily production and packaging activities to ensure smooth workflow
- Ensure output targets are met while maintaining strict food safety and quality standards
- Enforce hygiene, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures at all times
- Allocate tasks, balance workloads, and monitor team attendance and performance
- Provide on-the-job training and ensure staff follow standard operating procedures
- Act as the key communication link between management and factory floor teams
- Address operational issues quickly to minimize disruptions and delays
- Support continuous improvement in productivity and work discipline
Requirements
- Experience supervising workers in a food production or processing environment
- Strong understanding of food safety, hygiene, and sanitation practices
- Preferred but not necessary: background in meat processing or food packaging operations
- Knowledge of HACCP, GMP, or food safety audit requirements
- Experience handling worker training, discipline, or conflict resolution
- Ability to read basic production plans and performance indicators
- Confident leadership skills with the ability to guide, correct, and motivate teams
- Willingness to work in physically demanding conditions (cold, wet, noisy environments)
- Flexible to work overtime, weekends, or shifts as required
