The Role
This role focuses on managing the health category through strategic sourcing, pricing, and stock optimization. You will work closely with suppliers and internal teams to drive sales growth, improve margins, and ensure a strong, competitive product assortment aligned with market trends

Description
- Source and onboard new suppliers, brands, and products aligned with customer demand and market trends
- Develop pricing strategies to balance competitiveness, sales growth, and profitability
- Negotiate with suppliers to secure favorable costs, rebates, and commercial terms
- Monitor sales and inventory levels to maintain optimal stock and avoid overstock or shortages
- Manage promotions, product launches, and in-store visibility to drive category growth.
- Analyze promotion effectiveness to ensure incremental sales and margin improvement
- Optimize product assortment and discontinue underperforming SKUs
- Build strong supplier relationships and ensure service level and contract compliance
- Work closely with internal stakeholders and store teams to improve category performance
- Track competitor activity and market trends to identify growth opportunities
Requirements
- 3–5+ years of experience in retail buying, category management, or merchandising
- Experience in retail chains or pharmacy/health sector is preferred
- Strong skills in supplier negotiation, pricing strategy, and margin management
- Experience in promotion planning and inventory management
- Analytical mindset with strong commercial awareness
- Good communication and stakeholder management skills
