Technician (Assistant) at a Leading Agribusiness in Yangon

• Support solar pump system maintenance, troubleshooting, and technical field operations for sustainable farming solutions
• Up to 700,000 MMK + phone bill + other allowances 

The Role

This role is responsible for supporting the maintenance, repair, and installation of solar irrigation systems and electrical controllers. You will work closely with field service and engineering teams to ensure equipment reliability, minimize downtime, and support farmers through technical assistance and training

Description

• Diagnose and repair faults in solar pump controllers, inverters, and electrical systems
• Conduct preventive maintenance and routine inspections to ensure equipment reliability and performance
• Support installation and configuration of solar irrigation systems and related equipment
• Assist in training farmers and field staff on safe operation and basic troubleshooting procedures
• Maintain accurate service records, repair logs, and technical documentation
• Perform quality checks and testing to ensure repaired equipment meets operational and safety standards
• Collaborate with engineering and field teams to improve product performance and service processes
• Support continuous improvement initiatives related to technical service and maintenance operations

Requirements

• Diploma or degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or related technical field
• Hands-on experience with controller, inverter, or electrical equipment repair
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Knowledge of solar systems or irrigation technology is preferred
• Willingness to travel for field service and installation activities
• Good teamwork and communication skills
• Ability to work independently in field-based operational environments
