The Role

This is a strong opportunity for an experienced HVAC engineer to take on a technically focused role covering system design, project implementation, commissioning, troubleshooting, and customer support. The position will work closely with clients, contractors, dealers, and internal teams to ensure air conditioning projects are delivered effectively and to the required technical standards

Description

• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for system air conditioning issues, including onsite assistance and remote/on-call support
• Take ownership of complex or urgent technical cases and provide practical solutions as a technical specialist
• Support dealers, contractors, and customers with technical guidance throughout project implementation
• Design commercial air conditioning systems using DVM software, including cooling load calculations and equipment selection for VRF and DVM chiller applications
• Review project drawings, specifications, technical requirements, and system designs to ensure suitability and compliance
• Conduct site surveys and coordinate with clients, engineers, architects, contractors, and subcontractors to understand project requirements
• Provide engineering support during installation, resolving technical issues and ensuring systems are implemented according to design requirements
• Coordinate testing, commissioning, and project handover activities with customer service and project teams
• Manage technical requirements for major projects while maintaining clear and professional communication with customers and stakeholders
• Monitor the performance of outsourced service technicians and ensure work is completed to the required technical standards
• Gather technical information, prepare reports, and organize team schedules to support efficient project and service operations
• Assist with other technical and engineering activities as assigned by management

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
• At least 3 years of relevant experience in system air conditioning or HVAC engineering
• Strong hands-on knowledge of HVAC systems, preferably with experience in commercial air conditioning applications
• Experience with VRF/DVM systems, cooling load calculations, equipment selection, and technical design
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, project specifications, and technical requirements
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving abilities
• Customer-focused with good communication and interpersonal skills
• Energetic, mature, adaptable, and comfortable working in a technical service environment
• Well-organized with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
• Willingness to travel
• Good command of written and spoken English with good computer literacy
