Employee Engagement Manager at one of the Financial Services Companies in Yangon, Myanmar

  • Develop and manage internal communication strategies and plans aligned with the company’s vision, mission, and culture to boost employee engagement and foster a positive work environment

Our client company plays a crucial role in Myanmar’s financial sector, providing financial services to support economic growth in Yangon and beyond

Description

  • Develop and execute internal communication plans that promote transparency, collaboration, and employee involvement

  • Design and manage employee engagement programs, including surveys, events, recognition initiatives, and feedback mechanisms

  • Create and distribute engaging content for various internal channels such as newsletters, intranet, emails, and town halls

  • Partner with HR and leadership teams to align communication and engagement strategies with business objectives and culture

  • Monitor and analyze employee engagement metrics and communication effectiveness, providing insights and recommendations for improvement

  • Manage crisis communication internally to maintain trust and morale during challenging times

  • Facilitate two-way communication channels to encourage employee voice and feedback

  • Organize workshops, training, and team-building activities to strengthen employee relationships and collaboration

  • Ensure communication materials are culturally relevant and accessible to a diverse workforce

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, human resources, Business Administration, or related field

  • Proven experience (5+ years) in employee engagement, internal communication, or organizational development, preferably in financial services or related industries

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Burmese

  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and engage employees at all levels

  • Analytical mindset with experience in using employee feedback and engagement data to drive initiatives

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

  • Knowledge of Myanmar’s cultural and business environment is an advantage

  • Excellent command of spoken and written English
