The Role
The Sales Manager will lead the sales team to achieve company targets, develop new logistics business, and manage key customer accounts. This role is responsible for proposing and implementing sales strategies, ensuring customer satisfaction, operational efficiency, and compliance, while driving sustainable revenue growth in freight forwarding and logistics services

Job Description
- Develop sales plans aligned with company strategy and market direction
- Propose business solutions and market‑oriented sales approaches
- Identify and penetrate new markets and acquire new customers
- Achieve individual sales targets and lead the team to achieve overall sales targets
- Manage Profit & Loss performance of assigned customers
- Support sales credit collection and coordinate with the Accounts Department to recover overdue receivables
- Assign, supervise, evaluate, and support sales staff to meet performance targets
- Guide and coordinate sales team action plans
- Improve team efficiency and organizational capability
- Build a strong internal support and backup system
- Manage workload and working hours of team members
- Maintain strong relationships with customers to ensure long‑term partnerships
- Ensure smooth shipment handling by coordinating with internal departments
- Support customer shipments to avoid claims and resolve issues promptly
- Foster a customer‑oriented mindset across the sales team
- Strictly follow company policies, procedures, and guidelines
- Ensure appropriate SOPs are established and followed
- Approve pricing before commencing business to ensure accuracy
- Improve efficiency of sales operations
- Coordinate closely with Customer Service, Operations, Warehousing, and other internal teams
- Ensure timely and accurate reporting
- Develop and implement training plans to enhance staff skills and knowledge
- Coach, motivate, and empower team members to maximize potential
- Build a positive and motivating work environment
- Internal Coordination: Internal management, operations, customer service, and support functions
- External Coordination: Customers, carriers, agencies
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in foreign Trade, Import–Export, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Customs, Economics, or a related field
- Minimum 5 years of sales experience, including at least 3 years as a sales Manager or Sales Supervisor in a freight forwarding company
- Strong knowledge of logistics, shipping, and freight forwarding
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills
- Strong organizational and time‑management abilities
- Proven relationship‑building and customer management skills
- Strong problem‑solving, analytical, and decision‑making abilities
- Self‑confident, target‑driven, and able to multitask
- Good written and spoken English
