The Role
The Sales – Freight Forwarding professional will be responsible for generating new business, managing customer relationships, and expanding import-focused CIF trade in Myanmar. This role requires strong commercial acumen, market knowledge, and the ability to work cross-functionally to deliver sustainable revenue growth.

Job Description
- Identify potential trade lanes and onboard new customers with a strong focus on import CIF business
- Drive sales growth across air and ocean freight forwarding services
- Manage and develop long-term customer relationships and key accounts
- Lead negotiations, pricing, tenders, and RFQs to secure new and repeat business
- Work closely with operations and cross-functional teams to implement customer logistics plans
- Manage route and market development for assigned sectors and trade lanes
- Achieve sales targets and contributing to overall country business objectives
- Monitor market opportunities and propose value-added logistics solutions
- Ensure compliance with customer SOPs, company policies, and internal processes
- Support business reviews, account receivable management, and reporting activities
Requirements
- 3+ years’ experience in freight forwarding sales, with strong exposure to import CIF shipments
- Solid knowledge of air and ocean freight trade across multiple industry sectors
- Strong commercial mindset with the ability to identify customer pain points and opportunities
- Experience in tender and RFQ management
- Fluent in local language with strong local market connections in Myanmar
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills
- Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment
