Head of Talent Acquisition at a Well-known Financial Service Company in Yangon, Myanmar

  • Overseeing all aspects of talent acquisition, including employer branding, workforce planning, candidate sourcing, process optimization, recruitment analytics, and hiring manager engagement
  • Up to 6,000,000 MMK plus other allowances

This role is responsible for recruitment strategy and ensuring a strong talent pipeline to meet current and future workforce needs

Description

  • Lead end-to-end recruitment strategy and execution for all business units across the bank
  • Collaborate with business leaders to anticipate hiring needs and align TA strategies with business goals
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with external partners (recruitment agencies, academic institutions, etc.)
  • Design and implement innovative sourcing strategies to attract top talent across retail, digital, corporate, and risk functions
  • Drive employer branding initiatives to position as an employer of choice
  • Leverage data and analytics to measure recruitment performance, identify gaps, and optimize processes
  • Lead and mentor a team of TA professionals across various regions and functions
  • Ensure compliance with internal hiring policies and regulatory requirements
  • Support campus recruitment and internship programs to build future talent pipelines

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s preferred)
  • 8+ years of progressive TA experience, with at least 3–5 years in a leadership role, preferably within financial services
  • Deep understanding of the financial sector and its talent dynamics
  • Proven experience in building and managing high-performing TA teams
  • Strong knowledge of recruitment technologies, metrics, and best practices
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and influencing skills
  • Experience with employer branding and digital sourcing strategies
