• Prepare and oversee the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with Myanmar accounting standards and international financial reporting requirements applicable to automotive businesses
• Up to 1,000,000 MMK plus attractive bonus

Our client is focus primarily on automobile sales, including electric vehicles, and engages in active promotion through social media and local auto shows in Myanmar

The Role

This role is involve overseeing comprehensive accounting and financial management tasks related to vehicle import, distribution, and sales operations

Description

• Manage day-to-day accounting functions, including accounts payable/receivable, ledger entries, bank reconciliations, and general ledger maintenance related to automobile sales, imports, and operational expenses
• Assist in tracking costs related to vehicle procurement, import duties, distribution logistics, and after-sales services to assess profitability and cost control
• Collaborate on preparing budgets and forecasts aligned with company strategy in vehicle sales, spare parts, and service divisions
• Ensure timely VAT, commercial tax, and other tax filings compliant with Myanmar tax law specific to the automotive sector and imports
• Assist in coordinating with tax authorities and external auditors during audits

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; ACCA or equivalent qualification is preferred
• Minimum 5 years of accounting experience, preferably with at least 2-3 years in automotive distribution, vehicle import/export, or related industries in Myanmar
• Strong knowledge of Myanmar accounting standards, tax regulations, and financial reporting
• Experience with accounting software and Microsoft excel
• Strong interpersonal and coordination skills to work with cross-functional teams and external auditors
• Proficiency in Burmese and English for reporting and communication purposes
