• Involves managing the financial accounting and reporting processes to ensure accuracy, compliance, and efficiency

• Up to 4,500,000 MMK plus other allowances and benefits

The Role

This role plays a vital role in maintaining an organization's financial health, supporting compliance, and enabling informed financial decisions through accurate reporting and analysis

Description

• Managing general accounting functions, including accounts payable, receivable, cash receipts, payroll, and balance sheet reconciliations

• Preparing, analysing, and delivering financial statements such as income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports

• Implementing and overseeing internal controls and ensuring compliance with accounting principles (e.g., GAAP, IFRS)

• Coordinating budget preparation, financial forecasting, and analysis

• Managing audits and liaising with internal and external auditors

• Leading, training, and supervising accounting staff

• Overseeing financial transactions and ensuring proper revenue and expense recognition

• Developing and implementing systems to improve the accuracy and accessibility of financial information

• Serving as a key contact for financial inquiries related to invoicing, bill payments, cash receipts, and budgets

• Supporting strategic organizational financial decisions with accurate financial data and reports

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field (advanced degrees or certifications such as ACCA or CPA are preferred)

• Proven experience as an Accounting Manager, Financial Manager, or similar role (typically 5+ years in senior role)

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, IFRS, and reporting standards

• Proficiency in accounting software, SAP systems, and advanced Microsoft Excel skills

• Excellent leadership and team management skills

• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and organizational skills

• Ability to handle large volumes of data and ensure accuracy

• Good communication skills for coordinating with management, auditors, and staff

• Experience in budget management, financial forecasting, and audit coordination
