Description
- Assist full set of accounts, including general ledger, journal entries, and month-end/year-end closings
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable functions
- Lead internal and external audits, ensuring all documentation and financial data is accurate and complete
- Assist in budget variance analysis and support financial planning activities
- Coordinate with other departments (operations, procurement, etc.) to ensure accurate financial data flow
- Manage fixed asset register, depreciation schedules, and physical asset verification
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field (LCCI III or ACCA preferred)
- Minimum 3 years of accounting experience, ideally in logistics, trading, or distribution industries
- Strong knowledge of Myanmar tax law, accounting standards, and audit procedures
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, SAP, or local ERP systems)
- Excellent MS Excel skills and ability to analyze financial data
- Fluent in English and Burmese, both written and verbal
- High attention to detail, with integrity and strong analytical skills
