Description

• Develop and deliver ICT and Computing lessons in accordance with the Cambridge IGCSE curriculum and international education standards
• Design engaging lessons and practical projects that help students develop key skills in programming, digital literacy, data analysis, and computer systems
• Prepare and administer assignments, quizzes, and assessments to evaluate student progress effectively
• Maintain accurate academic records, provide constructive feedback, and support students in achieving academic excellence
• Encourage students to explore technology creatively through coding, robotics, or digital media projects
• Ensure the classroom and computer labs are safe, well-maintained, and equipped with the necessary tools and resources
• Participate in meetings, professional development workshops, and school-wide events to enhance teaching effectiveness
• Collaborate with other teachers to integrate ICT skills across subjects and promote digital competence school-wide

Requirements

• Previous teaching experience in ICT and Computing, preferably with IGCSE students
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline
• Teaching qualification or certification in ICT/Computing education (Cambridge or equivalent) is highly desirable
• Strong knowledge of programming languages, database systems, and computer hardware/software concepts
• Excellent communication and classroom management skills
• Ability to inspire and motivate students to develop digital and computational thinking skills
• Patient, innovative, and passionate about integrating technology in education
