Assistant HR Manager at a Leading Food & Beverages Company in Yangon, Myanmar

  • Support full HR operations across recruitment, payroll, performance management, employee relations, compliance, and training within a high volume manufacturing environment
  • Up to 1,500,000 MMK and Other Allowances

The Role

The role will be responsible for managing day-to-day HR operations, ensuring smooth execution of HR programs, and assisting with employee relations, recruitment, payroll, and onboarding processes

Description

  • Support end to end HR operations including recruitment, onboarding, payroll coordination, and performance management
  • Assist with the recruitment process, including posting job advertisements, reviewing resumes, and conducting interviews
  • Coordinate onboarding for new employees, including orientation sessions and preparing employee documentation
  • Support in organizing training programs and employee development initiatives
  • Ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll, including overtime, deductions, and bonuses
  • Support employee engagement activities, internal communication, and retention initiatives
  • Ensure HR practices are compliant with local labor laws and regulations
  • Support the implementation of HR policies and procedures across the organization

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or related field
  • Minimum 3–5 years of HR experience, preferably in manufacturing, FMCG, or F&B industries
  • Strong understanding of HR operations, payroll processes, and labor law in Myanmar
  • Good communication, coordination, and problem solving skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Fluency in English is required for effective communication with international teams and stakeholders
