The Role

The role involves supporting the overall finance function including financial reporting, budgeting, cash flow monitoring, accounts management, audit support, and ensuring compliance with financial policies and procedures in a dynamic marketing agency environment.

Description

• Assisting in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
• Managing daily accounting operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger functions
• Supporting budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management processes
• Monitoring financial transactions and ensuring accuracy of financial records
• Assisting with month-end and year-end closing activities
• Coordinating with external auditors, tax consultants, and relevant stakeholders when required
• Ensuring compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and financial regulations
• Preparing financial analysis and management reports to support business decisions
• Overseeing invoice processing, payment schedules, and expense tracking
• Supporting process improvements and maintaining effective internal controls within the finance department

Requirements

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; ACCA or other accounting qualifications are an added advantage
• Minimum 5 years of experience in finance and accounting functions
• Proven experience in accounting or finance functions with strong understanding of financial reporting and accounting processes
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and numerical skills
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office applications
• Good interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively across teams
• Strong organizational and time management abilities with attention to detail
• Ability to handle confidential financial information professionally and accurately
