The role involves assisting in managing the finance function including financial reporting, budgeting, cash flow management, cost analysis, and ensuring accurate accounting records and compliance with internal financial policies within a dynamic manufacturing operation.

Description

• Assisting in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Managing daily accounting operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries
• Supporting budgeting, forecasting, and cost control activities
• Monitoring production-related costs and assisting in cost analysis and reporting
• Handling month-end and year-end closing processes
• Ensuring accuracy of financial data and maintaining proper accounting records
• Coordinating with internal teams and external auditors when required
• Supporting cash flow management and payment tracking
• Assisting in inventory and fixed asset accounting processes
• Ensuring compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and financial regulations

Requirements

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional qualifications such as ACCA or equivalent are an advantage
• Minimum 5 years of experience in finance and accounting functions, preferably in a manufacturing or similar industry
• Strong understanding of financial reporting, budgeting, and cost control processes
• Proficiency in accounting software, and Microsoft Office applications
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
