The Role

Lead and manage all finance and accounting functions, including financial reporting, budgeting, cash flow management, taxation, and compliance, while supporting strategic business decisions and improving financial performance.

Description

• Oversee daily finance and accounting operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and local regulations
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports
• Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial plans to support business objectives
• Monitor cash flow, working capital, and financial performance to ensure operational efficiency
• Ensure timely tax filings and compliance with all statutory and regulatory requirements
• Lead the year-end audit process and coordinate with external auditors and regulatory authorities
• Strengthening internal controls, financial policies, and accounting procedures to improve operational effectiveness
• Provide financial analysis and strategic recommendations to senior management to support decision-making

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA, ACCA, or equivalent professional qualification is preferred
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in finance and accounting, including at least 2 years in a managerial position within the manufacturing industry
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, taxation, costing, and Myanmar financial regulations
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting or ERP systems
• Strong analytical, leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Good command of English and Burmese, both written and spoken
