• Oversee daily accounting operations, financial reporting, and compliance to ensure accurate and timely financial management

The Role

Manage the full spectrum of accounting activities, including financial reporting, general ledger management, tax compliance, budgeting support, and month-end closing while ensuring compliance with company policies and local regulations.

Description

• Manage daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports accurately and on time
• Ensure compliance with Myanmar accounting standards, tax regulations, and statutory reporting requirements
• Coordinate with external auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory authorities during audits and inspections
• Supervise and support junior accounting staff while ensuring continuous process improvements

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience, preferably within the service industry
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, taxation, budgeting, and Myanmar accounting regulations
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good command of English and Burmese, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
