• Responsible for ensuring the organization’s processes of risk policies and processes for an organization including the development of risk models involving Market, Credit, Financial and Operational risks

Description

• Develop, implement, and maintain the Bank’s risk management framework, policies, and procedures
• Identify, assess, monitor, and report key risks, including credit, market, liquidity, and operational risks
• Prepare risk reports and present key risk indicators (KRIs) to Senior Management and relevant committees
• Monitor the Bank’s risk profile, risk appetite, and regulatory requirements, recommending appropriate mitigation measures
• Conduct stress testing, scenario analysis, and risk assessments to identify potential business impacts
• Analyze portfolio quality and emerging risk trends, and work with business units to strengthen risk management practices
• Review new products, services, and business initiatives from a risk perspective
• Coordinate with Internal Audit, Compliance, regulators, and Head Office on risk-related matters
• Prepare required risk reports and documentation for the Central Bank of Myanmar (CBM) and Head Office

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Risk Management, or a related field
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in banking operations or risk management
• Strong knowledge of risk management principles and banking regulations
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Ability to independently manage risk-related functions and responsibilities
• Good communication and report-writing skills in English
• Experience in stress testing, scenario analysis, risk assessment, and risk reporting is preferred
