Description
- Take full ownership of renewable energy project delivery from development through to commercial operation
- Define project strategy, key milestones, and performance targets aligned with business and investor expectations
- Lead and manage cross-functional project teams including engineering, commercial, and project management functions
- Act as the primary point of contact for key stakeholders including investors, contractors, consultants, and regulatory authorities
- Oversee project financial performance including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control
- Approve major procurement decisions, contracts, and project variations
- Develop and execute detailed project plans, schedules, and resource allocation strategies
- Supervise construction activities to ensure compliance with technical specifications, quality, and safety standards
- Manage project risks, change orders, and critical decision-making throughout the project lifecycle
- Ensure compliance with regulatory, environmental, and ESG standards
- Oversee commissioning, testing, and final handover of the project to operations teams
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, or related field); MBA is a plus
- Minimum 7–10 years of experience in senior project management roles, with proven leadership in renewable energy projects
- Demonstrated experience delivering large-scale, grid-connected renewable energy projects
- Strong financial acumen including budgeting, cost control, and contract negotiation
- Excellent stakeholder management skills with exposure to investors, EPC contractors, and regulatory bodies
- Good understanding of renewable energy regulations, permitting, and grid connection processes
- Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making capabilities
- Fluent in English with strong presentation skills
