The Role

This is a senior leadership role for an experienced engineering professional to take full ownership of technical operations within a complex industrial environment. You will lead engineering teams, ensure system reliability, and drive continuous improvement across maintenance, safety, and infrastructure performance

Description

• Lead and manage all engineering departments, including utilities, electrical, and mechanical functions
• Oversee daily operations of critical systems such as HVAC, power distribution, generators, boilers, and water treatment facilities
• Establish and enforce preventive and corrective maintenance programs to ensure optimal equipment performance
• Monitor system reliability and implement improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce downtime
• Promote a strong safety culture by enforcing compliance with regulatory and environmental standards
• Conduct risk assessments and ensure adherence to workplace safety protocols
• Plan and execute engineering projects including upgrades, installations, and facility improvements
• Review technical specifications, project timelines, and budgets to ensure successful delivery
• Manage departmental budgets, control costs, and identify opportunities for operational savings
• Prepare regular reports on engineering performance, maintenance activities, and project progress
• Lead, coach, and develop engineering teams to ensure high performance and continuous capability building
• Coordinate with external contractors, suppliers, and auditors when required

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or related Engineering discipline
• Minimum 8–10 years of engineering experience, with at least 3–5 years in a leadership role
• Strong knowledge of utility systems, mechanical maintenance, and electrical distribution
• Experience in manufacturing or industrial facility environments is highly preferred
• Solid understanding of safety standards, compliance requirements, and energy management systems
• Strong leadership, team management, and communication skills
• Hands-on approach with strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and engineering-related systems/tools
