The Role

Network Engineer is responsible for following up with Network Operation team for Cisco Devices

Description

• Perform hardware installation and configuration for Cisco networking products
• Install, upgrade, and maintain IOS on Cisco network devices in accordance with standard procedures
• Conduct preventive maintenance for Cisco equipment, including routers, switches, and wireless LAN controllers (WLC)
• Coordinate with the helpdesk and follow up on all Cisco-related support tickets to ensure timely and proper resolution
• Troubleshoot and resolve network-related issues, including those involving security devices such as firewalls

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science (Computer Science) or Information Technology
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in Operation and Data Center Network, network design/deployment
• Prior knowledge of TCP/IP and routing protocol
• Possessing CCNA/CCNP certificate is an added advantage
• Excellent knowledge in Routing and switching, eg. BGP, OSPF, Multicast, VSS, spanning tree, MPLS L3VPN
• Good knowledge of Firewall technologies eg. IPSEC VPN, SSL VPN, IPS/IDS,Policy Manager, Cisco ISE
• Excellent in English communication
